Every year the Band enjoys a full calendar of events, and 2015 is no exception. Please come along and support us at any of the events listed below. We would be delighted to see you. If you need any further information regarding where and when we are playing, please contact the Secretary, Iain Willox via the Contact and Tariff page.
Another busy year for the band in prospect as the following list of events indicate. We hope to see as many band members as possible attending these events.

School at 7pm.
Monday May 29th Pershore Carnival 1200hrs. King Georges Way, Post Code WR10 1QU. Please note that the procession starts at 1pm prompt, meet in the clubhouse for tuning up etc for 12pm. Apparently we can park in the Pershore retail park carpark (Not ASDA's) in Cherry Orchard, Post Code WR10 1EY. Turn right before entering the football ground and follow that road. Sunday 11th June. Bishops Cleeve Parade 12oclock until 4 pm, meet up at 11 am for tuning etc. Venue is the Tithe Barn. Post Code GL52 8GD. We have been granted a car park to park in Stoke Road surgery, Post Code GL52 8RP. Please be there no later than 11am as a steward will then escort us to the Tithe Barn where we have a room allocated to us for tuning up etc. Remember we march off at 11.50 am (short march, 10 mins). We play twice during the afternoon at 1pm and 2.30pm. At 2.30pm there is a fly past and we have been requested to play something appropriate for the fly past, I would suggest "Wings" through a couple of times. Completed with 9 pipers and 2 drummers. Saturday 24th June. Malvern Armed Forces day gala Venue Victoria Park Malvern. WR14 2JX. Time 1.30pm until 5.30pm. All events will be held in Victoria Park, Parade starts at 1.30pm with short march in arena (around 10 mins) then Drumhead service. We are then scheduled to play at 2pm - 2.30pm in the arena with the possibility of another slot slightly later. Parking will be allocated in the park, Pitch 2 Exhibitor parking, do not forget that access will be via Spring Lane (opposite the Morgan factory) Post code (approx.) WR14 1AJ and we have been allocated changing rooms to tune up etc. Please arrive by 12.30 pm as we will be on parade for 1.15pm/1.20 pm for the short march. Saturday 15th July. Dursley Parade. Procession starts from Rednock School Post Code GL11 4BY at 1230pm please arrive for 11.30 for tuning up etc. Parking is at the school and then there is a short walk to the pavilion in the playing fields where we can leave kit and enjoy tea, coffee, water etc. we will require a wristband (hopefully a committee member will supply that item). We are leading the procession, march will be about 30 mins although we will turn off when directed to by a steward ( just past the petrol station apparently) to go onto the playing fields before the procession ends at the school. We will proceed to the main stage area where we are playing again for around 20mins at 1.45pm. Completed with 9 pipers, John R. Bill G. Pam T. Carol B. Callum J. Dominic M. A Eagle. Bill R. Carol V.
Saturday 22nd July Badsey Flower Show. Venue is The Recreation Ground, Sands Lane (Nr Evesham). Car Park is at the the recreation ground Post Code WR11 7EZ, this will be signposted and stewards will be in attendance. Storage of our kit etc will be in a marquee. At the moment the band has been requested to play in 2 different time slots. First Slot starts at 1.40pm for 20 mins. Second slot begins at 3.15pm for 20 mins and then we are finished. Currently these are static displays. Apparently there are other stalls at this show for you to look around. Arrive for 1pm please for tuning up etc. Completed with 7 pipers and 1 drummer. Saturday 29th July. Pipeband Engagement between 12 Noon and and 5pm in Mitcheldean for a son's 30th birthday. Post Code GL17 0DR. Address Tarn House, Bradley Court Road, Mitcheldean. Arrive by 11.30am for tuning up, our first stint is at 12.30pm for 30 mins, we have a barn for storing our kit and tuning up. We are playing on a large lawn so a mixture of marching and static display will be required, during first stint Mull of Kintyre to be played and at 1pm Happy birthday to be played. Second stint will begin at 1.45pm for 30mins again. There is plenty to eat and drink available. Parking for the band is beside the barn previously mentioned follow the signs for disabled parking (not event parking) this will take you to the barn where we will be tuning up, it is then about 100metres to where we will be playing, be careful with Post Code it will take you to a Nursing Home, host states Tarn House is directly opposite Bradley Farm with red corrugated barns, there should be balloons and signs to indicate where to go. Saturday 5th Aug. Ross Town Carnival. Meet at 12pm in Ashburton estate where we can park. Carnival will leave Ashburton Estate at 1pm Post Code HR9 7BW. The band will follow the same route as last year (waiting in Market St.after first lap) rejoining the procession and lead the carnival into Rope Walk. Some light refreshments are available there, then the band to play a 15min session at approx 2.05 pm and that will be the finish. Completed with 7 pipers and 1 Drummer. Sat. 2nd Sept. Gloucester Day Parade. Parade starts at 2pm in Constitution Walk Post Code GL1 1TH beside the Conservative Club. Refreshments in Brunswick Baptist Church afterwards. The band is leading the parade this year so we are at the head of Group A marching with the Town Crier so do not be late. An important point to note is that there is no free parking this year (The Barbican car Park has now gone). Band members please retain your parking tickets and you will be reimbursed. The band has been allocated a slot at 1pm to play some tunes for 20mins. prior to the march. We will be be playing in King's Square either beside Chambers or at the the side of Debenhams, please gather in King's Square at 12.30pm for tuning etc. It is only a 5 min walk to our start for the march at 2pm. Sun. 12th November Stow in the Wold Remembrance day parade, meet at the Royal British Legion Hall, Well Lane, GL54 1DB for 9.30am to enable tuning etc. to be completed before we march off (10.30am from the square).

Sunday 11th Nov Battle's Over- A nation's tribute at 11 am Venue Gloucester Cathedral. A lone Piper Alan McClymont required probably for 6am.
